The wait is over.
Dance lovers all across the globe are all set to get another chance of reveling in the excitement of pure entertainment, with audition commencing by the first week of January.
That’s right folks; your beloved reality dance competition has plunged into talent hunt spree from January 5, 2012.
Auditions will take place across five cities of America. First on the list is Atlanta, which is followed by Dallas, New York City, Salt Lake City and finally Los Angles.
And I am sure; many of you must have already planned to give it try at auditions in one of the cities, to showcase the dancer in you.
But that ain’t going to easy because once you get the ticket for Las Vegas, the real journey begins. Every week, some nasty performers will eliminate the average ones to make it to the top group.
After the top group gets all the dancers, viewers will decide who are going to make into the next level and who will pack their bags.
Anyway, ‘performance for votes’ comes after several episodes. And I really feel that the best moments of the series are its auditions.
Not that you get to see judges hitting the bull’s eye with some great finds, but sometimes the weirdo acts of die-hard dance fanatics bring for us bag full humorous instances.
Watch the five major auditions of So You Think You Can Dance across five cities to find out how many of the local talents from each pocket vouch for a good run. Further details on audition venue will be available online.
So if you don’t want to enjoy the start to the season nine as a viewer, then you can always give it a try.
I would have tried for any of the auditions. But alas, my performance would always compel Nigel and Co. to throw shoes at me!
Well, don’t get de-motivated!
Because, if you have it in you, then you must go for it, to have the tag of SYTYCD!
Otherwise, wait for the season to hit screens.

Any guesses who am I talking about?
Nigel hasn’t actually abused the gay contestants participating in the reality show, but he has been alleged of directing many of them to not reveal their gay or lesbian identity on stage.
And I guess the only thing is what would have annoyed Simon Fuller to the extent that he summoned Fox to the court of law!
Well during an interview, one of the judges, Nigel Lythgoe came up with an explanation for pairs coming under the axe.
