Get ready to move with ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ on May 21
The long awaited date has been announced. I mean we all knew that ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ would return to the screens, after the fourth season came to an end on August 7, 2008. Fox had announced it in last August that it was picking up the series for yet another season. A few days back Fox has announced the date for the premiere of the fifth season.
The fifth season of the series will premiere on May 21, 2009 at 8PM ET/PT. It will be a two hour long premiere, where as usual all the new contestants will be introduced to the judges and the audiences. The premiere episode of the series will be followed by another two hour special episode that will be telecasted on May 27 at 8PM ET/PT, FOX announced.
The creators of the show started with the auditions for the fifth season, earlier this March that will be continuing through out the month. The places where the auditions are going to take place are New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Denver, Memphis, and Seattle. All the people who will be selected at the auditions of ‘So You Think You Can Dance‘ will then, be asked to move to the show’s Las Vegas callbacks round, where they will work with the choreographers and then perform in front of the judges. The judges once again will see their performances and will then select this season’s top 20 semifinalists.

So, if any one is interested in participating in the show, still has an opportunity to demonstrate their talent. But to see the semi-finalists performing at their level best and who will make it to the top this time, we will have to wait a bit. Till then have some patience, as it needs time and patience in order to search for talent all over America.
