Mrs. Tom Cruise To Make an Appearance on So You Think You Can Dance!
Hey people! Since the announcement about the special episode of So You Think You Can Dance was made on the latest episode of the show, fans have been eager to learn more about it. In fact, we already know a few details of the special episode that will be aired on 23rd July 2009. Seemingly, the episode, which will be the 100th one for the show, will feature guest performances by outstanding participants form the past seasons.
And another special guest who will be seen on the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance is none other than Mrs. Tom Cruise - Katie Holmes. Did I hear you exclaim Wow! Well, that would seem quite natural as the lady has not only earned a name for her herself through her acting skills, but has also gained publicity for stealing the heart of the one handsome man, whose smile is enough to make any woman feel on top of the world.
Recently, it was also reported that Katie has joined hands with Adam Shankman, Nigel Lythgoe and Carrie Ann Inaba to launch a dance scholarship for the underprivileged youth. Incidentally, both Nigel Lythgoe and Carrie Ann Inaba are judges of the reality TV show, So You Think You Can Dance. Besides that, Nigel Lythgoe is also one of the creators of the show. It seems that the idea of the scholarship was inspired by the reality show itself.
Anyways, the above mentioned scholarship fund will be called Dizzy Feet Foundation. It will provide the underprivileged youth with an opening to participate in the various dance programs and enable them to win scholarships for enrolling in recognized dance studios. Well this step will surely open up new avenues for talented but underprivileged people who find it difficult to make it to dance competitions.
